South Sukhumvit covers two districts of Bangkok including Phra Kanong and Bangna. The area is undergoing massive transformation since it was deemed as one of Bangkok’s satellite urban cores. One of the drives in this area is to become an innovation hub with technology companies and new start-ups. We gathered locations of technology companies from around Bangkok to understand the current status of the cluster patterns, especially between those of local versus global companies. Additionally, we also looked into the global market of venture capitalists and their investments to better understand how such a pool of investment can be attracted to South Sukhumvit.
